Scheduling
Welcome to Tooele High School!
Students are strongly encouraged to approach their required annual College and Career Readiness (CCR) appointments with diligence when meeting with their school counselors to thoughtfully plan and update their four-year course sequence and future academic and professional paths. School counselors highly encourage students to utilize their four-year plan as a resource for Arena Scheduling.
Arena Scheduling occurs towards the end of the school year during the second semester, where students are provided with a two-week window to build their complete schedule for the upcoming school year in Skyward. During the Arena Scheduling timeframe, school counselors advise students to review and adjust both semesters whenever feasible. When the Arena Scheduling window closes, students must complete the Schedule Change Request form and notify their school counselor of their submission request before the new school year begins.
Once the school year starts, there will not be any schedule changes for students. Any schedule change request that are needed will require submitting a Schedule Change Request form. A school administrator will review and approve or deny the request. If approved, students can meet with their school counselor to finalize the adjustment. School counselors will implement corrections, as necessary.
This process ensures accurate class enrollments for teachers and minimizes classroom disruptions. Tooele High School will take into consideration the following exceptions on a case-by-case basis, such as teacher-initiated adjustments, athletic team placements, graduation requirements, or extenuating circumstances.
